Nokia N-Gage platform going live now

Word on the official Nokia N-Gage blog today reveals that the gaming platform is now live and ready to be played, assuming you have a compatible Nokia handset of course.
Official word that the service is now live will apparently be delivered next week, but if you go to Nokia's mobile site via n-gage.mobi/d, you can download the game delivery platform.
You'll need the right handset, however, and from the get-go the N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95, and N95 8GB are supported. Other devices will be added soon, we're told.
The gaming platform promises to deliver games digitally to mobile users, and will eventually support a wide range of handsets, Nokia hoping to gain gaming audiences by creating a games platform which will work with many devices - rather than by releasing a dedicated games phone, as with previous attempts.
