Final Fantasy XIII related countdown spied

Final Fantasy fans all over the interweb are getting hot under the collar, flustering over the newly materialised countdown clock, which has appeared on Final Fantasy XIII's official website.
At the time of writing, the countdown has just over six days still to run, Square Enix hinting that "a new vision will soon be revealed to the world."
We're not quite sure what it means, although we're hopeful that we can - at the very least - expect some new gameplay footage, or something equally tantalising from Square Enix's new RPG opus.
According to reports, Final Fantasy XIII will hit Japan later this year exclusively on the PS3, while European and US debuts could be off the cards until 2010 - when it'll arrive on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
