MadWorld could boost Wii sales
Hardcore gamers could reach for Wii
While the Wii goes after that illusive non-hardcore audience, violent Sega release MadWorld could do the opposite and lure traditional gamers to the platform - that's what PlatinumGames' Atsushi Inaba reckons.
Speaking to Kikizo, Inaba-san said: "We've had positive feedback online from users who've said that this is a must-buy, that it's a reason to buy a Wii."
He continued: "The main reason is we wanted to create a new title for the Wii specifically, and if we developed for other platforms, we wouldn't be able to develop a new title, new ideas. We wanted to make something that was easy to pick up and play."
The game is out now in the USA, and will hit Europe on March 20th. We'll have a review soon.

MadWorld is great, any Wii owners who like action games should try it.
As a 40-something parent of two daughters, I can't understand why this game is on the Wii. From what I've read, it's a reflection of everything vile in our society and captures the essence of what's wrong in the world today. I think that Nintendo needs to stand up to publishers putting such trash on the...
OH WAIT! IT'S TIME FOR MAN-DARTS!!! I LOVE THIS PART!!! Gotta hurry before the kids get up! Later!! :)
This game is kick ass. I was showing off the game when i got it, it was funny my sister tried and got her ass kicked on it. Then my mom was watching me battle Rin Rin. I said, "O theres the sexual theme."
Madworld is a brilliant game no doubt, everyone i've showed it off to liked it and laughed at the obvious comic book humour.
It seems though that Madworld has not sold too brilliantly so far, which I find odd considering that I read so may comments on other sites where people moan that their Wii is collecting dust because there isn't enough 'hardcore' games out. If you think your Wii is collecting dust, deferently get this game.
