Livingstone becomes Eidos life president

Veteran boss Ian Livingstone will become 'life president' of Eidos Interactive following the take-over of the firm by Square Enix, which has now been completed.
"I'm delighted with new role of life president as it gives me the opportunity to further promote the good ship Eidos and the industry too. I never get tired talking about games," enthused Livingstone announcing his role.
There had been speculation that Square Enix might metaphorically throw the baby out with the bath water following their take-over of the British publisher, but Yoichi Wada himself has assured that Eidos will remain independent following the purchase.
