Ubisoft ramp up for Assassin's Creed 2

Assassin's Creed 2 producer Sebastien Puel has said that over 450 developers are now hard at work on the second Assassin's Creed title.
According to NowGamer, Puel says: "The team's size for the second title of Assassin's Creed 2 is about three times the size of the team of the first game.
"Making [Assassin's Creed] from A to Z took around four years... It's a very good thing we are keeping most of the core members who envisioned the first Assassin's Creed. They know the project very well."
