Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker revealed for PSP
South american cold war setting
The 360 is getting a new Metal Gear Solid title, but the PSP isn't missing out either, Hideo Kojima revealing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a new Solid Snake adventure billed as the 'true sequel'.
Set a few years after Metal Gear Solid 3, we're assured Kojima himself is penning the plot; the title not to be regarded as a spin-off.
A true Metal Gear franchise sequel is promised, complimented by PSP-unique features.
The game is to be set in 1974, the height of the Cold War, with a South American locale spotted. Strong stealth elements are present in early footage, and the visuals are certainly looking impressive for a handheld title.
Sci-fi elements seem set for inclusion, including some vast enemies, with a release in 2010 mooted.
