Ghostbusters PC has no multiplayer mode

Platform confusion for movie tie-in

Ecto-Web this morning reveal the somewhat bizarre news that the PC version of Atari's Ghostbusters release omits the multiplayer modes present in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. This version will also miss out on the DLC Atari have planned.

Atari have yet to offer an explanation as to why PC purchasers miss out, although the online fraternity are unlikely to take this lying down - especially as Europeans can't even purchase the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

Yes, Ghostbusters is a PS3 and PSP exclusive across the continent, meaning that those seeking either the PC or the Xbox 360 version will need to import the game from the US.

The Sony exclusive versions are set to hit town this Friday.
