Speaking in a community interview with Eurogamer.net, EA DICE producer Gordon Van Dyke has revealed that while EA won't offer a demo of Battlefield 1943, a 'trial version' of the game will be offered instead.
Presumably, this trial version will either be time-limited, or include locked features, but either way developer DICE are confident this can show off their new Battlefield in a good light.
"No beta, but we have a trial version that lets you confirm what you already thought - that this game is the best 15 USD I will ever spend!"
The new Battlefield will land later this summer as downloadable release.

Well the Xbox 360 version will not be time limited, that is if you are refereeing to the idea that the demo will not always be available seeing that it is XBLA. If you are refereeing to the idea of having the demo being able to run for maybe an hour, then you may be on to something. They could limit it to one map and one class. You should try to make sure your idea is made clear in your article.
