Analyst uninspired by Natal
Cowen exec says PS3 is looking better
At least one games industry analyst isn't buying what Microsoft are selling when it comes to the forthcoming Natal motion control system. Cowen and Company analyst Doug Creutz tells Joystiq he is more taken with the PS3's rival system.
"Natal appeared to me to be a technological solution in search of a problem," Creutz offered.
"I had a very hard time envisioning playing Modern Warfare 3 using Natal. By contrast, I had a very easy time envisioning it (and enjoying it) using Sony's control/motion capture scheme.
The analyst believes Microsoft are barking up the wrong alley in chasing the Wii's casual audience, stating that asking players to upgrade twice in the same hardware cycle is a risky move.

Wow, yet again. A slant to the title in favor of MS even though it was a statement about how the PS3 motion controller concept is superior to the MS POS Natal implementation that makes zero sense for hardcore gamers. Nice attempt to spin the article... Maybe play should get some un-biased writers...
Stop your Whining Sony Fanboy!
Byte me xbot twit.
So this guy can't imagine a gun in his hands to play call of duty? My 3 year old can do this. Oh well, not everyone can be hopefull of good things to come, but if your able to use a toy gun or a banna or any other common hosehold object OR just use your hands and have great accuracy to boot....most everybody will love it. Hard core gamers need to be divided into 2 groups. The bitches (who just magically know everything) and those who are willing to try products before jumping to conclusions-sorry about the rant....one can only read soo many comments in a day before cracking
