Non-gaming apps for PSP Go

Al de Leon of Sony Computer Entertainment America has told CNet (thanks VG247) that non-gaming applications will be heading to the PSP Go.
"The goal with that is to enable all sorts of developers to be able to develop content for the PSP," says de Leon.
"It'll mostly be games but there's certainly an opportunity to develop non-gaming applications."
Rumour has it that non-gaming software will be announced for the revised handheld at Gamescom in August. We'll be on hand to tell you all about it.
