The PSP Go was one of E3 2009's biggest announcements, but confirmation of the 249 USD / Euro price tag hardly inspired observers; this price tag being somewhat higher than the existing PSP model.
"When you introduce a new piece of hardware you have the opportunity to say there is a certain premium that is associated with it, and we took that into account," Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss Andrew House tells MCV.
"As with all hardware launches you look at the business model, the cost structure, and the necessarily level of profitability, and you use that to set the wholesale price. Much as we do with any other hardware."
Do you think the PSP Go is fairly priced?

I think it is too expensive to be honest. I mean i do like the psp and i think with a little more support for it it could be an amazing handheld. It has a lot of features and stuff thats good about it but to me that is just way way too expensive. I mean god it's not even far off from dare i say it the ps3 price (which i don't think is too expensive).
But whatever buy it if you can don't if you cant
i think that it will be well worth the money in the long run, i am pre-ordering one for sure!
