Speaking with Autoweek, Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that a release date for Gran Turismo 5 will be confirmed 'soon'.
All has been quiet on this gigantic PS3 racer for some time, although we do hear that the title is basically complete - the designers working to polish and perfect ahead of a full release.
"We will give the release date of the Gran Turismo 5 soon," Yamauchi offered, noting that the PSP version of Gran Turismo will land on October 1st.
The racing title has been in the works some five years, so expectations are suitably high. We'll keep our noses to the ground for official word on this.
