Blizzard trademark Cataclysm

Word on the street this morning from BlizzPlanet has it that World of Warcraft makers Blizzard have just filed three trademarks covering the name 'Cataclysm'.
The filings cover games and toys based on the brand, and while we're not sure whether this is a new game or something else, speculation points to a possible World of Warcraft expansion.
Apparently, those who know the MMO well spy themes linking the name to Sundering, although Blizzard are inevitably not saying anything at this point.
