Battlefield 1943 coming out next week

Word on the street from EA officially confirms this afternoon that Battlefield 1943 will launch next week, hitting the Xbox 360 on July 8th and then landing on the PS3 the very next day.
The latest in the Battlefield series has been looking good for some months now, and with a digital release planned EA and DiCE seem to be powering on into new territory.
The multiplayer action title will cost 1200 Microsoft Points, or about 10 GBP, if you prefer.
