A new Resident Evil (Biohazard) flick is in the works, we hear today, with director Paul W S Anderson signed up to work on scripts for the new project - to be set between Alaska and Tokyo.

According to movie website ShockTillYouDrop, the flick will be called Resident Evil: Afterlife, and will be released on September 17th 2010.

We've no details yet on the cast, or whether the title's plot will link in more closely with the games than past releases, although we're hoping Mila Jovovich can reprise her role as Alice.

We'll keep our eyes peeled.
