New Left 4 Dead content soon
Demo for sequel mooted, too
Valve have assured today that both the PC and Xbox 360 versions of Left 4 Dead will be getting new DLC by the end of the summer.
"We plan to keep supporting Left 4 Dead 1," marketing boss Doug Lombardi assured CVG. "There will be some announcements coming before summer's out about what's coming there, and then we haven't shown everything that's in Left 4 Dead 2 yet.
"I think 8, 9 months from now once everything's been out for a while and everyone's had time to see the complete product of Left 4 Dead 2 and see continued support for Left 4 Dead 1, they may sort of see what we were up to and what the method of our madness was there."
Lombardi also reveals that a multiplayer demo of Left 4 Dead 2 should be released ahead of the sequel's November debut. More soon.

I have played left for dead for a really long time now... Iv'e seen what others have had to say about the first one and that there will be a second one out (everyone knows that lol) my whole thing is... why not make it so that you can try and stop the infection all together... Picture this... four main characters starting off like they normally would, but instead of being able to shoot anything that moves, why not have a few of wanderers who are looking for survivors... that would eally put an edge to the game... and you would certanly try and save bullets much better... also, instead of just the same, kill zombies... kill a hunter... or boomer... or smoker... or the new Charger... the Tank... or weather or not the witch is sitting down or not... she wont kill you if you all are shooting her.... why not make it so that when a Zombie dies, there bodie doesn't just dissapear. OR, why not have a new boss that brings the dead Zombies BACK!!! Or, why not throw a Beastly Dog into the mix... And when you do get 2 the finally... why not make it an option to barricade the windows or doors when you have to finnally fight the horde(It's not like a Tank cant bust down anything it ouches anyways haha)
And those "new bullets" (If you don't know they start zombies on fire) they are really annoying... why would i want a zombie running at me while it's on fire? at least when it's not i won't loose as much health... Well guys...
