Epic consider new style for next Gears
But won't be drawn on specifics
The inevitable next Gears of War game may opt for something of a different style to the previous games, designer Cliff Bleszinski telling Develop that Epic are considering something a bit new.
"If you look at Gears of War 2 we actually tried to get away from it a little bit by doing things like letting the colours breathe and come through a little bit more," CliffyB offers.
"Stylistically though, I'd love to play in a different field in the near future in regards to what your typical expectation of a Gears of War game actually is."
We're hoping for more on the next Gears title sooner rather than later, although with this Christmas seemingly covered we're most likely looking at 2010 release or beyond here.
