FASA founder to revive Crimson Skies series?
New studio to look at combat fighter after MechWarrior
One veteran game developer, founder of FASA, could be on the brink of reviving another age-old game franchise, rumour surfacing this morning suggesting that Crimson Skies could be set for a return to the limelight.
FASA founder Jordan Weisman tells Gamespot that Crimson Skies could return as a creation of his new company, called Smith & Tinker.
"Most of my time is invested in [Smith & Tinker], but in the wee hours of the night, I spend time thinking about the older properties. I think Crimson Skies is something we'd love to get some energy around, and we have some devious plans - we'll see if those materialize," Weismen teases.
Before Crimson Skies makes a return, however, the game maker is focussing on MechWarrior - and promises to deliver a new game that will appeal to fans of the original game.
