PS3 sales drop back in Japan
But Slim still sees Sony take second place
Sales of the PS3 leapt to over 150,000 units in Japan last time we took a look at the charts, the PS3 Slim's arrival combining with a sizable price cut to give the console a major boost.
The latest numbers for the week ending September 13th have now been unleashed by Enterbrain, and the PS3 is down a lot - all be it still holding on to the number two spot.
The DSi console once again takes the lead with sales in excess of 66,000 units, followed by the PS3 with sales of over 55,000 units.
The PSP is next, after a big gap, with over 18,000 sales for the week in question, followed by the Wii - a whisker off on 17,000.
Next up is the DS Lite with 11,000 - followed by the Xbox 360 with 7,000 and the PS2 in last place with over 2,000. More from Japan as we get it.

Comments
Obviously all the PS3 Slim fanboys went out buying them and now no one wants one! I thought the sales figures would of kept rising!
lol @ u for making such a dumb comment. You're obviously an Xbot. The PS3 Slim is in 2ND spot which is an achievement considering it's price in contrast to a DSi. Your 360 is where.... I can't see it... oh 5TH just above the PS2 an eight year old system. :)
I really hope all the PS3 deals are making some in roads for Sony. I hate to see them lose.
