The PS3's Home persistent online world may have been one of Sony's 'big things' for the console, but it seems this experimental social network world may be failing to set the world on fire.

Speaking with Edge at the London Games Conference, PlayStation Home chief Pete Edwards admits that the platform isn't top of Sony's agenda right now - and it seems as if the future of the service could be less than clear.

"It's been a long road," the exec reveals. "We've proved there is a market out there and we've got a lot of people that spend a lot of time in [Home]. It's not a priority right now but there is a business model there."

What are your thoughts on PlayStation Home, folks?

Just because something is not a company top priority doesn't mean it's failing.

Many cool things are hapenning to HOME. it's fun to visit once in while and check things out. If you have friends that are into that stuff is a better experience.

Home's problem is the pacing...of every aspect. It dawdles at everything. I like the idea and I venture into Home occasionally, but I feel like I'm suddenly in a world stuck in 1st gear.
