Champions Online boasts a million heroes

Speaking online this week, Atari and Cryptic proudly reveal that more than a million heroic characters have now been created within the bounds of new MMO Champions Online.
"We are very pleased with the wonderful praise Champions Online is receiving," beams Atari CEO Jim Wilson. "We credit the great MMO fan base and look forward to seeing what players create as the game continues to grow and develop.
"We are working hard on new content and updates that will expand the universe and give Champions fans more to explore."
A free weekend trial for the MMO begins today, and ends Sunday night.
