Bayonetta dated for release in West

Sega drop by this morning to confirm when sexy-witch battler Bayonetta will be with us, the publisher affirming that the game will hit retail come January.
In the United States, Bayonetta will arrive on the 5th of January, while Europe will be getting the new title on the 8th of January.
Kamiya-san's new game sports some manic action gameplay, and we're also told a wacky and engrossing fantasy plot will back up all this kicking and shooting.
PlatinumGames' opus is heading to Xbox 360 and PS3, although Sega are said to be behind the PlayStation version. More as we get it.
