PSP to take on Dr. Kawashima
Mind Quiz revealed
Noting the huge global popularity of the Dr. Kawashima series of brain-training titles on the Nintendo DS handheld, Ubisoft have this week announced a similarly stimulating quiz-test title for the Sony PSP, which will be called Mind Quiz. The game, released by Sega in Japan under a different name, takes the same mass-market, self-improvement approach as the Nintendo titles, but apparently takes the formula even further -Ubisoft no doubt hoping to cash-in.
Like 'Brain Training', the game will test the 'age' of your brain by presenting you with problem-solving puzzles, tests of reflex, calculations and more - as well as giving you exercises to undertake in order to improve your 'brain age'. An online mode is also promised, and this is just the latest in a raft of titles for both the PSP and the DS designed to attract non-traditional gamers - translation and language products tap a similar market and have also been increasing in number.
