cPanel recently raised its prices for the cPanel software for the second year running. These price increases roughly equal a 200% increase on the price that Jolt pay on cPanel licenses. As one of the oldest partners, we had a long standing agreement with preferential pricing – pricing we passed on to you, our customers.
We do not feel raising prices in the middle of a global pandemic which threatens many small businesses is the right thing for a supplier or partner to do. Unfortunately cPanel have, as has one of our data centre partners – Timico.
We put customers before profits. We understand the difficulty many UK businesses and business owners are facing as a result of Covid-19. As a result, we are not passing on any of these price increases to our shared and reseller customers in 2021 and have instead decided to absorb these increases.
