When you have opened Gmail, click the burger menu (three lines)\u00a0at the top left next to &#8216;Search Emails&#8217; to bring up the settings menu<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26331\/burgermenu.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select &#8216;Settings&#8217; &gt; &#8216;Add Account&#8217;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26319\/settingsgmail.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Select &#8220;Other&#8221; and enter your own email address and click Next<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26323\/addemailgmail.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>5. After entering in your email address and pressing Next, you will be asked if you&#8217;d like a POP3 or IMAP account<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26325\/popimap.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POP3<\/strong>: Downloads the email off the server and stores it locally on your device (typically not recommended)<br><strong>IMAP<\/strong>: Syncs with the mailbox on the server leaving emails on the server (recommended)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here I would suggest selecting IMAP if possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Enter your Incoming mail server settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incoming Server Settings<br><em>Username: Full email address<br>Password: Mailbox password<br>Server: mail.yourdomain.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26327\/incoming.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Enter your Outgoing mail server settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outgoing Server Settings<br><em>Username: Full email address<br>Password: Mailbox password<br><\/em><em>Server: mail.yourdomain.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Require sign-in: Yes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.cloudabove.com\/sc_assets\/26329\/outgoingsettings.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After entering your Outgoing server settings, click next and your account will then be added to your Gmail app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will now be able&nbsp;to send and receive emails&nbsp;straight from your Gmail app.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This guide will take you though adding your email account to the &#8216;Gmail&#8217; app for Android mobile devices: 1.
