As a Reseller, you will be given access to a\u00a0WHM\u00a0<\/strong>account which provides various tools for managing the hosting of your clients such as creating new cPanel accounts via\u00a0WHM > Create a New Account<\/strong>, as well as listing any created accounts via\u00a0WHM > List Accounts<\/strong>\u00a0so you can find\/access specific accounts all from within\u00a0WHM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guide will cover the steps to creating a new cPanel account <\/strong>in WHM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Recommended: <\/strong>Before proceeding further with this guide, we recommend first following our guide for creating Packages<\/strong> in WHM<\/strong> as they’re an important part of setting up a new cPanel account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Login to your WHM account<\/strong>. The login credentials for this would have been sent to you in an email when you first set up an account with us. If you do not have these credentials, please contact support for further assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. When you first login you should see an option labelled Create a New Account<\/strong>. Alternatively, use the left hand menu to search for and navigate to Create a New Account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Enter your client’s domain into the Domain field<\/strong> e.g. example.com (this can also be a subdomain such as my-blog.example.com), as well as a Username, Password<\/strong> and Email Address<\/strong> (optional).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udc49 Tip:<\/strong> WHM<\/strong> will typically create the Username<\/strong> for you once you’ve entered the domain. Also, if you decided to add an Email Address<\/strong>, that will then be what’s used to receive account notifications such as Disk Space <\/strong>notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Important:<\/strong> Please make sure to set a strong<\/strong> password, the stronger the password the less likely it can be brute forced\/bypassed. The Password Generator<\/strong> button can be helpful for this as it will create a random password for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udca1 Note:<\/strong> Once the password has been set it\u2019s not stored anywhere visible\/accessible, so we also recommend making the password memorable and\/or storing the password in a secure location (e.g. a password manager).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Select a Package<\/strong> from Choose a Package<\/strong> drop down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 8. Leave all other values as default and click Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
