So you’ve got your site setup to use a Git Repository<\/strong> and you now want to automate the process a bit, JCP allows you to configure Git Webhooks<\/strong> for automatic pull and deployment of code from your Repositories<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’ve not yet created a Git Repository<\/strong> for use with JCP<\/strong> please see our guide Using Git Repositories in Jolt Control Panel<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obtaining the Webhook URL:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Login to your Jolt account<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Login to your Customer Portal<\/a><\/strong> account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on Jolt Control Panel<\/strong> in the top row.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    Open the Site settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. In JCP<\/strong>, you\u2019ll see a list of your Sites<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Find the site you want to manage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click the Settings cog icon<\/strong> beside that site.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Copy the Webhook URL for the repository<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. Navigate to Git<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click on the Options<\/strong> drop down and select Webhook URL<\/strong> option to copy the URL<\/strong> to your clipboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Adding the Webhook to Git:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Navigate to your Git Repository<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. Login to https:\/\/github.com<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Find the repository that you wish to use with JCP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          \n\n\n\n

          Add the Webhook<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          1. Click on Settings<\/strong> located in the bar at the top of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Navigate to Webhooks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Click Add Webhook<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            4. Paste the Webhook URL<\/strong> in the Payload URL<\/strong> box.
            5. Click Add Webhook<\/strong> at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            That\u2019s it, you\u2019ve now setup a Git Webhook<\/strong> in JCP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
