How to cancel your hosting service

At Jolt, you’re free to come & go as you please and it’s straight forward to request a cancellation through your Jolt account.

We’re rarely beaten on price and never on quality, so if you’re seeking pastures new for whatever reason, please talk to us first. Likewise, if you’re moving hosts as part of a site rebuild, we can work with virtually any agency or freelancer.

Cancelling your service

  1. Login to your Jolt account via my.jolt.co.uk
  2. Navigate to Services in the top menu
  3. Click on the service you wish to cancel
  4. Click Request Cancellation on the left-hand side
  5. Enter your reason for cancellation (e.g. no longer needed)
  6. Select your Cancellation Type
    • If you are happy for the hosting service to stop straight away, select Immediate
    • If you would like to wait until your next invoice, select End of Billing Period
  7. Click Request Cancellation

Once a cancellation has been raised, you’ll no longer be invoiced for the service. If you have opted for an immediate cancellation, your service will be cancelled within 24 hours, so please ensure you have a copy of everything you want to keep.
