How to register a domain and assigning it to an existing contact

Jolt can assist to register a domain on your behalf and assign it to an existing contact on your account. This is useful when a domain needs to be added under a specific registrant or account contact without making changes yourself.

Purpose

A customer wants a new domain registered and linked to an existing contact already held on their account. The is typically for a specific domain name to be purchased and assigned to the correct contact record.

Solution

1. Submit a request to Jolt with the domain name you want to register.
2. Include the name of the existing contact the domain should be assigned to.
3. If helpful, provide any relevant account reference so the correct contact record can be identified quickly.
4. Once processed, the domain will be registered and assigned to the specified existing contact.
