Redis is an in-memory database caching system that speeds up WordPress by storing frequent database query results in RAM. Instead of querying the database every time a page loads, WordPress fetches stored results instantly from Redis—significantly reducing server load and page load times.

Is Redis Right for Your Site?

• Best for: E-commerce (WooCommerce), membership sites, blogs with high traffic, or sites with heavy database queries.

How to Request Redis Installation

Redis runs at the server system level and requires engineer support to install and configure safely.

How to request setup: Open a support ticket and provide:

1. Domain Name (e.g., yourdomain.com)
2. WordPress Directory (e.g., main domain or /blog/)

• Setup Time: Installation is usually completed within 1–2 hours during business hours.

Configuring Redis in WordPress

Once our engineering team confirms installation:

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Install & activate the Redis Object Cache plugin (or configure Redis in W3 Total Cache).
3. Go to Settings > Redis and click Enable Object Cache.
4. You will see a Connected status verifying that Redis is active and caching database queries.
