Email settings for cPanel-based hosting

In almost all cases, we recommend using the account type of Other/IMAP when adding an email account to your PC, Mac or phone/tablet.

If you’re having trouble sending/receiving, please double check that your settings align with the below.

Incoming settings

Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain, or email address.

IMAP (recommended)

Server address: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: name@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email account password

Port: 993
SSL/Secure: Enabled/Checked

Insecure port 143 is not supported.

POP

You should only use these settings if you already have the account setup as POP on your device

Server address: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: name@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email account password

Port: 995
SSL/Secure: Enabled/Checked

Insecure port 110 is not supported.

Outgoing settings (SMTP)

Many devices will show the outgoing settings or username/password as optional, but this is not the case.

Server address: mail.yourdomain.com
Username: name@yourdomain.com
Password: Your email account password

Port: 465
SSL/Secure: Enabled/Checked

Insecure port 25 is not supported.
